Travelling and exploring new destinations is getting easier with tons of online and mobile services. It’s already possible to find tickets, book hotels, plan routes and discover infinite sight options around the world. Among thousands of websites and mobile applications available, Clarice, a portuguese application, was chosen by Fortune as one of the “5 Great Travel Apps to Help Plan Your Summer Vacation.”

Clarice was created by GuestU, a startup based in Lisbon that’s focused on innovation for the hospitality sector. The app is a handy travel guide that uses a machine learning algorithm to understand the traveller context and create a unique experience.

The American publication highlights Clarice’s power to offer “curated suggestions for the best sights, restaurants, and shopping for four types of trips: business, pleasure, romance, or a family visit”.

Those who prefer human interaction can also chat with their own concierge, Clarice, who can give trip suggestions and help with tickets and hotel issues.

Nowadays, travellers want more than a destination and a touristic guide with mainstream sights to visit. They search to know the places where locals go and have a unique travelling experience.
