eSolidar, a fundraising marketplace for charitable causes, has become the fourth Portuguese company attracting investment from various investors from around the world. The company raised £200,000 from more than 180 investors through Seedrs, Europe’s largest platform for equity crowdfunding co-founded and chaired by the Portuguese Carlos Silva.

Among the Portuguese companies that have successfully complete financing campaigns on Seedrs are Coacher, Agroop (twice) and Climber Hotel.

eSolidar allows people to shop, sell and donate to their favourite charitable causes. The platform enables charities to diversify their fundraising base and reach new audiences through online charity shops, donations, volunteering requests and charity auctions.
