There are still a few months left till the event, but the 2016 Web Summit Lisbon is already stirring things up in Portugal. Next week, Start Up Go Global will take place as a warm-up.

Held by aicep Portugal Global, Câmara Municipal do Porto, Câmara Municipal de Lisboa and the Web Summit, the event gets together successful startups, public sector representatives and members of the Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem, to discuss the importance of startups going global and what are the opportunities brought by the Web Summit that will happen in November.

The Porto’s Start Up Go Global conference takes place next February 2nd at Casa da Musica. Rui Moreira, Mayor of Porto, Luís Teixeira, VP Operations & PT General Manager at Farfetch, Miguel Oliveira, Co-Founder of DisplaxAlexandre Barbosa (Faber Ventures), among others, are joining the event.

The edition in Lisbon will be on February 4th at Patio da Galé and the program includes Fernando Medina, Mayor of Lisbon, Jaime Jorge, CEO Codacy, Miguel Amaro, Uniplaces Co-founder, Stephan Morais (Caixa Capital).
