You can apply to StartUP Voucher until next December 19th. The new initiative from the Portuguese government gives youngsters from ages 18 to 35 the opportunity of having monthly funding as well as mentoring and technical support for a whole year in order to kickstart their own startup. If they make it happen, an extra 2000€ will also be given as a concretization prize.

As for now, included in the Portuguese National Strategy for Entrepreneurship, Startup Voucher is looking for good ideas which will boost less developed regions of NUTS II: North, Centre and Alentejo. In some time, a new contest for Lisbon-impacted projects will also be available.

Whoever benefits from the vouchers will receive € 691,70 per month for a minimum period of 4 months and a maximum of 12, depending on the stage of the business project. To learn more about the requirements, take a deeper look into the FAQs.
