Last week, 6 startups from the first edition of the Startup Braga ’s Acceleration Program spent the week in London meeting entrepreneurs, investors and potential clients.
The roadshow took Nuada, PeekMed, PepFeed, Shair, SWORDHealth and Findster to the Microsoft Ventures Accelerator Program in London, to the UK Trade & Investment Organization, to Farfetch’s office in London, to the Portuguese Embassy in the UK and to Google Campus among many other places.

One of the highlights of the roadshow was the event in the Portuguese Embassy in the UK where the Ambassador, João de Vallera, welcomed the 6 startups and a group of local and Portuguese entrepreneurs and investors. The startups had the opportunity to pitch their startups to the attendees and immediately receive feedback and enter the radar of the investors in the room.
Another highlight was the meeting with José Neves, the Founder and CEO of Farfetch, a company that recently was valued at a billion dollars. José is one of the most successful Portuguese entrepreneurs and a role model for not only Portuguese, but also European tech entrepreneurs.
Many thanks to our grownup Farfetch and a special thank to @Farfetch_jose for the reception to our startups in London pic.twitter.com/UmOW6qWbsV

This roadshow strengthened the presence of the Portuguese startups in London and showed local investors that Portugal is a country of great opportunities.
