Criteria: tech startup, with at least one Portuguese founder and one office in Portugal. Less than 4 years of existence until 1st September 2015.
Glossary: “B2C” – business to consumer, means that you are selling a product or a service to a final costumer. “Tech startup” – startup with an associated technology or innovative business model.
Business to Business Startup that over the last year has shown notable development, in terms of service, product, growth, sales, communication, impact.

Individual that over the last year has shown great leadership skills and an ambitious vision.
Criteria: founder of a startup that follows the same criteria as the B2C Startup of the Year and B2B Startup of the Year.
The Acceleration Program that over the last year has shown notable development, in terms of impact in the startups that has been accelerating and the surrounding startup community.
Criteria: have had at least one acceleration program on national territory during the eligibility period; The length of the acceleration program has to be at least two months.
Startup incubator that over the last year has shown notable support of startups through business development services and provided workspace in a rent-based model.
Criteria: have a minimum of 10 incubated startups during the eligibility period.
Individual or organization that has been recognized over the last year, either because of the amount invested, a specific early investment (or the realization of it) or an exit, or the impact in the ecosystem.
Criteria: have a minimum of 5 investments during the eligibility period. Total amount invested of at least 100.000€ during the eligibility period.
Most promising technology transfer (from university to the market) that happened over the last year.
Criteria: License agreement obtained during the eligibility period. Due to the lack of eligible technologies we had to extend the eligibility period.
University that over the last year has been recognized by its effort to promote entrepreneurship, either through formal education or other types of programs.
Criteria: any Portuguese Higher Education Institution can apply. Ex. Universities, Polytechnic, etc..
Individual that over the last year has provided startup news coverage, showing notable knowledge and a fresh perspective.
Criteria: have a minimum of 10 articles written and published on blogs, online news, newspapers and magazines during the eligibility period.
An office space that deserves the recognition for its impact in the startup ecosystem and for creating an environment that fosters innovation and collaboration.
Criteria: have a minimum of 10 co-workers and 3 events hosted during the eligibility period.
