The acquisition of both platforms will allow the Portuguese tech company, Nonius, to strengthen its growth in cutting-edge technology in the hotel sector.

“Portugal Ventures is proud to contribute to the growth of these two startups, placing them side by side with the market leader. As we sell GuestU and B-Guest to Nonius, we contribute to the improvement of services in the hotel industry and to the dynamism of the tourism industry and our economy,” said Celso Guedes de Carvalho, CEO at Portugal Ventures.

“This consolidation will allow us to accelerate the growth of GuestU, a 100% Portuguese technology [company]; it also places us closer to our vision of becoming a leading worldwide player in the guest experience area,” said Euclides Major, CEO at GuestU.

“Nonius’s investment in B-Guest makes perfect sense; it will allow us to accelerate product development and sales by rapidly entering their existing base of over 1,600 clients, which is fundamental to the growth, consolidation, and internationalization of the company,” said B-Guest CEO José Vieira Marques.
