With the support of Sage Portugal, Microsoft Portugal, and Lisbon Municipality, we’re officially launching the UP Awards nominations to recognize what is done better in Portugal and show our potential, not just to our country but to the whole world.

Through PortugalStartups.com we are continuously having the opportunity to connect with lots of different organizations and startups from all over the country. It made sense to create an impartial event on a national scale that would comprise the several elements of the dynamic Portuguese entrepreneurial ecosystem. We also believe that success should be celebrated and that the entire community must be directly or indirectly involved in it.

This is not just your ordinary Entrepreneurship award-giving event. We are gathering the whole entrepreneurial ecosystem and showcasing some of the best work done in Portugal, from Startups to Organizations and remarkable people within this community.

There are 10 categories in the competition and everyone will be the responsible for nominating and voting for the winner for each one of them.

From today till September 27th, 23:59 (Lisbon Time), everyone can nominate themselves or others.

After that, a shortlist will be announced and the voting for the winner begins. Check the whole timeline.
