Momentum has gained a new meaning these days: get ready for the new project from Startup Lisboa!

Startup Lisboa Momentum is a scholarship program for Portuguese recent graduates or university finalists with a business idea and entrepreneurial spirit, but no financial way of dedicating themselves full time to the creation of their own startup. If you fulfill these requirements, and you had a scholarship or other kind of social support during this year, or at least one of the three last years, Startup Lisboa Momentum is for you!

Momentum: from Latin, movimentum; The impetus and driving force gained by the development of a process or course of events.

Each year 3 people will get a scholarship that lasts 12 months. It will include not only pocket money (500€ per month) but also free accommodation and incubation space at Startup Lisboa. This way there are no limitations: you will have the time and resources to validate your business idea and build your team, while also getting all the perks associated with being at Startup Lisboa.

The applications are open until July 31st and the winners will be announced in October.
